Why are McCain's actions any more excusable than Edwards?

The difference is John McCain divorced his wife and married Cindy. He did not go on TV and proclaim her to be the love of his life and he did not know what happened to make him cheat on her. That is what you do when you can no longer be faithful to someone or love someone you divorce them and let them find better than you. You don't keep lying to them and hurting them. John Edwards is still lying the baby is probably his and the woman still thinks she will be with him in the end she is probably the one giving the info to the media. Elisabeth Edwards has a lot of hurt still coming her way. If you watched the interview you can see Edwards is still lying and covering up thinking the whole mess won't ever come out. Elisabeth might know what he has told her but she does not know the truth yet. If he was thinking about Elisabeth and his children he would have never met with her at the hotel last month under any cirstance if his family knew he should have let the story come out. Myself give me a man that cheats, gives me a divorce and moves on with his new woman any day over one that cheats, says he's sorry, lies, cries and keeps me tied to his misery I deserve better, the first Mrs. McCain deserved better, and Elisabeth Edwards deserves better than she is getting. That is the husband part now the politician part an important man with secrets can be blackmailed because he wants his secret hidden and we don't need a President with that kind of secret. So if you are Republican or Democrat and you want to be President make the sacrifice and keep it in your pants for a few years and if you can't don't run. Or when you get caught just say yes thats my woman and I see her often why lie if they don't lie there are no secrets to keep, no blackmail, no media circus.
