Lds, christians ! if it were absolutely true that truth comes from every source, would you choose to upgrade?

i should rephrase taht question. Ive adopted a "freedom of all" perspective because of aextra biblical sources beginning with the book of mormon and the testimony of joseph smith and his first vision. ive learned that priesthood is restored at his hands but at the same time i see the same mistakes in the church as those in christian traditions. they accept only what is canonized as truth, but in some cases its still not enough info. if we could prove the truth from other sources as well would you be willing to upgrade your faith and change your paradigm and expand your basic knowledge base for the greater truth?
