Complex question for Evangelicals?

Do you support Israel's hard line on the Palestinians? And if you do is it because you think its right or because of the Abrahamic Covenant? And because you believe that for the rapture to be realized the Jews must occupy that land? And if that is the case then isn't that a selfish reason for supporting them and doesn't God know your heart so will you burn or not? Help me out here. I just see the support for Israel by Christians to be selfish and shallow!
