Cat Gas is worrying owner?

My cat has been farting lately. I haven't changed her diet. She's going on 10 years old, but she's in great shape for her age. She's also been getting "dingleberries" lately. These are all new occurences, she's been very healthy up until recently. I am wondering if this is normal for an aging cat, or if she might have a problem and if there's anything I can do to help her???
