Why do hippies think that all the world's problems can be solved by encircling a campfire singing Koom-by-ya?

I believe that hippies changed the world actually. Hippies do not only talk about the environment. Look at the 1960s, Hippies changed the way many different things were looked upon. They protested the rights that humans were supposed to be guaranteed. They made a huge impact on the society. They made a statement. Saying that hippies are just out chanting in the woods is the most ludicrous statement i have ever heard. The reason most people do not like hippies is because unlike the rest of this cowardly world, they actually stood up for so many different reasons that they believed in. they believed they could changed the world, and in my opinion, they did. When you make stupid comments like this make sure to take everything in account, not just the environment.
