Time to really get serious about racism, right? More affirmative action for all non-whites says Obama, OK with?

I am not OK with this. Affirmative Action is granting someone preferred treatment based upon the color of their skin, or factors other than relevant qualifications, which is simply discrimination. Besides, there is enough affirmative action going around in the government: as an example, my mother, who is married to my father (and they're both white) has had cancer 4 times, has a heart condition from radiation therapy (cancer), and has difficulty walking because a muscle and lymph node were removed from her leg, yet she has been consistently turned down for disability, while (and I hate to stereotype, but) a single mother of 7 kids can live off of welfare. Besides, many scholarships are already reserved for "minorities"; that's enough "help" IMO.
