In theory , if it wanted , could america invade england and be successful?

They would have difficulty invading mainland Britain from across the Atlantic. The Royal Navy is the second best navy in the world after the US Navy. France would probably side with Britain and be it's most important ally. Hitler couldn't invade Britain from across the Channel so I doubt America could from across the Atlantic.
