Changing my hair color to blonde and a different color?

I want to change my scarlet hair color to like blondeish hair color on top and a different color on the bottom. Not tips just like layered. I thought of purple and blonde but the pictures I've seen make me change my mind. Who can tell me so awesome colors to put the blonde with. [colors that stand out but are a good combination.]
